The Beast...this fireplace grate is made of 32+ real world railroad spikes. Our Beast Series start at 36" across and taper towards the back usually 2" or so narrower than the front. They sit 4" off the fireplace floor. Plenty of room for shoveling ash out and ample room to build a nice hot ember base.
We can tailor these to your size as well - 36" above or whatever size you might need. We believe the fireplace is the heart of the home, if its rolling, you have company no matter who is home. Our suggestion is to give yourself a minimum of 2" on either side of the firebox and give yourself a minimum of 3" from the front. We like to shove our grates as far back as they can go to ensure a good draw.
*** Grates do not last forever.... fire and heat deteriorate pretty much everything.
