Railroad spike multi-functional rack was built to house our fireplace tools and still does, but can also be a coat, hat rack as well as a cool kitchen pot, pan, spoon/ladle rack... this is 16” long and can come raw, black, rusted, or any color you desire.
It is made from two railroad spikes and then 5 - 3/16” dowels are placed in it and given a little slant up at the end to keep things from slipping off.
We use two cut nails heated and bent to create a loop and then we weld that on to the back. We suggest mounting this with a wafer head screw like a GRK so the head creates a positive connection to the looped nail.
We can make these any dimension as well. Shorter or longer.
