This specific grate is heavily tapered for fireboxes like the Kiva. This one is 24” across the front and 10” at the back. we can tailor to almost any size. with aggressive tapers. These are stout fireplace grates made of real world railroad spikes. Over 16 railroad spikes make up this beast and it is made to bring function and charm to your fireplace. Grates measure 24-30" across and taper towards the back usually 2" or so narrower than the front. They sit 4" off the fireplace floor. Plenty of room for shoveling ash.

***Grates do not last forever based on your usage grates will degrade over time and, well, fall apart. We build for two requirements; aesthetics and durability, however our grates will wear out because long-term heat and weight will destroy the steel.
