36” Railroad Spike Fireplace Grate with 8” harrow tine ball- finial andirons

This specific grate is heavily tapered for fireboxes and per custom dimensions. This one is 36”across the front and 10” at the back, but again we can tailor to any box. These are stout fireplace grates made of real world railroad spikes. Over 16+ railroad spikes make up this beast and it is made to bring function and charm to your fireplace. These are accented with 8” harrow tines across the front and topped with hand forged finials to add a classic touch plus a nice ball for one extra piece of artistry. They sit 4" off the fireplace floor. Plenty of room for shoveling ash.

***Grates do not last forever based on your usage grates will degrade over time and, well, fall apart. We build for two requirements; aesthetics and durability, however our grates will wear out because long-term heat and weight will destroy the steel.
